COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho (AP) — A former caretaker at a northern Idaho assisted living facility has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for sexually abusing a 102-year-old woman.
The Spokesman-Review reports (http://bit.ly/1TIKow3) that 50-year-old Phillip Ray Smalley received the sentence Monday in 1st District Court.
A jury in March convicted Smalley of three sex offenses while working at an assisted living facility in northern Idaho.
Judge Lansing Haynes sentenced Smalley to 25 years for each conviction, with the three prison terms to be served concurrently.
Smalley must serve at least 10 years before becoming eligible for parole.
