WASHINGTON (AP) — In a story Nov. 24, The Associated Press listed Sen. Kelly Ayotte, R-N.H., as one of several Republican senators who might find it difficult to vote for a bill eliminating federal money for Planned Parenthood.

The story should have said that, when asked if she would support the bill, she said that would depend on what was in the entire legislation.

Ayotte spokeswoman Liz Johnson says the senator would support a provision halting Planned Parenthood's funding and transferring the money to local health clinics.

The bill in question would undermine President Barack Obama's health care law as well as block money to Planned Parenthood.
