Grain mostly lower, livestock mixed

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mostly lower in early trading Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery was lower .50 cent to $5.11 a bushel; December corn was 1 cent lower at $3.9020 a bushel; December oats were 3 cents higher at 2.2160 a bushel; while November soybeans lost 5.5 cents to 8.7560 a bushel.

Beef was lower and pork was higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

December live cattle was 1.20 cents lower at $1.3648 a pound; November feeder cattle was .28 cent lower at $1.8383 a pound; December lean hogs gained 1.03 cents to $.6718 a pound.
