CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were mostly higher in early trading Friday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for December delivery gained .50 cent to $4.5720 a bushel; December corn was 1.25 cents higher at $3.6260 a bushel; December oats were 1.25 cent higher at 2.24 a bushel; while November soybeans lost .50 cent to 8.6860 a bushel.
Beef lower and pork were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
October live cattle was .63 cent lower at $1.4098 a pound; October feeder cattle was 1cent lower at $1.9633 a pound; October lean hogs lost .18 cent to $.6928 a pound.
