CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were higher in early trading Tuesday on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for September delivery rose 3 cents to $5.02 a bushel; December corn was 2.25 cents higher at $3.7875 a bushel; December oats were 2.75 cents higher at $2.48 bushel; while November soybeans gained 7.5 cents to 9.43 cents a bushel.
Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
October live cattle was .60 cent higher at $1.4870 a pound; August feeder cattle was .97 cent higher at $2.1482 a pound; October lean hogs rose 1.175 cents to $.6650 a pound.
