BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) — College professors are being invited to the North Dakota oil patch for a two-day tour.
The Lignite Energy Council and North Dakota Petroleum Council are hosting the energy tour on Aug. 5-6. It will be limited to 30 professors.
The first day will focus on the oil industry and will include tours of a refinery and a man camp. The second day will include tours of a power plant and coal mine.
There is no cost for the event. Professors may register at www.lignite.com/nd_energy-tour .
