Ukrainian Embassy Announces IT Outsourcing Initiative

WASHINGTON, April 18, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- On April 29th,

the Ukrainian Embassy to the United States will unveil a Strategic

Initiative to help the country withstand economic pressure caused by

recent events in Russia. The initiative, called "Increase Profits.

Support Democracy. Cloudsource to Ukraine." aims to help the country

compete for a share of the $288 Billion global IT outsourcing market

through providing transparent cloudsourcing services. Ukrainian

Ambassador Olexander Motsyk will officially unveil the program at a

reception on April 29, 2014 at the Ukraine Embassy in Washington, D.C.

"I am quite sure that the IT industry in the Ukraine provides

excellent opportunities to do a good business," said Pavlo Sheremeta,

the Minister of Economic Development of the Ukraine. "This is one of

the booming sectors in Ukraine due to strong education and the long

standing culture of innovation and inventions that we have in the

Ukraine."

The SupportUkraine.us service will help U.S. companies and government

agencies find qualified Ukrainian IT outsourcing resources. The

initiative is supported by TransparentBusiness.com, a cloud-based

solution which allows companies to track outsourced work in real time

and retroactively. Specific services to be offered include

application, mobile, database and CMS development, as well as web

design, project management and server administration, among others.

In 2013, IT outsourcing helped add more than $1.5 Billion to the

Ukrainian economy. Ukrainian universities currently produce more than

30,000 IT graduates each year.

The April 29 reception is by invitation only. Please contact Tatiana

Shalkviska, Press Officer, Embassy of Ukraine to the U.S. at (202)
