A West Valley City woman is accused of stabbing her mother seven times and then attacking a neighbor by hitting him with the lid of a pot. The woman, police say, had to be subdued after she went after police with a copper pipe.

A family is in mourning after their loved one, Donald Leroy Brown, was struck and killed by a TRAX train after his wheelchair became stuck on the tracks. Witnesses say Brown was trying to get out of the chair and to safety when the train hit him.
