Police have been investigating the arson that took place at an Ogden Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints building May 5. They announced Tuesday that a reward of up to $5,000 will be offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person, or persons, responsible for the fire.

For now, the 3 ½-year search for Susan Cox Powell is over. In a press conference Monday, West Valley City officials announced they are ending the active investigation into her disappearance. They also released thousands of pages of documents related to the case.

30 years in prison for man who killed father after 'years of abuse'

Joseph Nance pleaded guilty to manslaughter for shooting and killing his father in a Kaysville motel. Prosecutors said they took a history of abuse into account when offering the plea deal.
