Carole Mikita Reporting In light of the shootings at Trolley Square, members of the Bosnian community have told us that some of them are being harassed at their places of business.

I spent the day talking with a number of people. There are concerns. No one has reported any physical attacks, just some comments that perhaps they should not have come to America or that the immigration laws should be changed. Others told me their customers at restaurants have been very supportive, even offering help.

Here at one restaurant called Bosna, it was business as usual today, although the owner, his family and regulars are heavy-hearted about the shootings. One of his employees said, after all, this is their home now.

Elvis Hadzialijic, Member of Bosnian Community: "Basically, people are worried. You have to understand these people came from war, from situations like these, they try to escape it. But, looks like it followed us here, too. We should, right now, find the strength to understand why this happened, the reasons--and it's a tragedy. We should stick together."

This statement of solidarity came from several members of the Bosnian community:
"Our heart goes out to grieving families and everybody else who witnessed this tragic event. We are also very sorry for Sulejmen's mother who is probably shocked at everything that happened and at the same time doesn't have a chance to grieve her loss. We also want to wish peace to everyone else who was involved in this tragedy that day."

And from the Islamic Society of Greater Salt Lake:
"Our heartfelt condolences outpour to the families that lost loved ones during the tragic events at Trolley Square. We pray that God will ease the pain of their loss and that those injured will find a complete and speedy recovery."

Several members of the Islamic community told me the Talovic family has not worshiped at any of the area mosques. They have not been actively involved in the Muslim community.
