Dollar store robbed

WEST VALLEY CITY -- Police are searching for a man who robbed a West Valley dollar store over night.
Police say the man walked into Honks on 3900 W. and 3500 South. They say he had his hand in his pocket, making the clerk think he had a gun.
He demanded money and when the clerk opened the register, the man grabbed handfuls of cash then ran off.
