RIVERTON -- A Riverton man was arrested Tuesday on allegations of multiple counts of child sex abuse almost two decades ago.

Kenneth Burr, 60, was booked into the Salt Lake County Jail Wednesday morning on seven counts of sodomy upon a child.

He's being held in the jail on $2.5 million bail.

In the probable cause statement, the victim says he was friends with Burr's stepson and spent a considerable amount of his childhood at Burr's South Jordan home.

The victim accuses Burr of assaulting him multiple times at Burr's house between 1991 and 1994.

On several occasions the victim says Burr showed him a knife and threatened to hurt him and his family if he told anyone.

The abuse occurred while the victim was between the ages of 10 and 13.

South Jordan police, who arrested Burr, say there may be more victims, who they are working to contact.

Burr pleaded guilty to child sex abuse in 1994 in another case.
