SALT LAKE CITY -- Police arrested two men after shots were fired in the Glendale area of Salt Lake City Tuesday night.

Witnesses reported gunfire between two cars near 800 West and 1300 South around 9 p.m. Tuesday.

The cars were gone before police arrived, but an officer spotted a suspected vehicle driving onto I-15 at 1300 South.

When police pulled over the car, both men inside jumped out. A police dog caught one of the suspects. Officers found the other man hiding near a canal.

No one was hurt in the shooting.
