Man stabbed overnight in Salt Lake

SALT LAKE CITY -- Police in Salt Lake City are trying to determine the circumstances surrounding an overnight stabbing.
Officers were called to an apartment building at 205 E. 2100 South just after midnight and found the victim suffering from a stab wound to the back.
He said a friend had inflicted the wound during a fight, but said he wasn't sure of that friend's name or where she lives.
The man is expected to be OK. Officers called the wound superficial.
