SALT LAKE CITY — Many Utahns marked the start of the Memorial Day weekend by honoring military personnel who died in service to the nation.
On Memorial Day, observed on the final Monday of May, all Americans are encouraged to pause at 3 p.m. for a moment of silence as part of a national remembrance.
