SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- The president of the Salt Lake branch of the NAACP says she's still opposed to private school vouchers after hearing John McCain's remarks to the NAACP today.

McCain told the NAACP in Cincinnati that private school vouchers should be given to kids in poor districts with bad schools.

But Jeanetta Williams says she's afraid awarding private school vouchers would lead to segregation. She was on hand for McCain's speech and says McCain didn't change her mind.

Williams helped lead the charge against vouchers in Utah last year.
