SPANISH FORK — Police arrested three people, placed a baby in state custody, and took more than $35,000 worth of drugs off the streets in Utah County Monday evening.
Spanish Fork police call it a major drug bust and say it started with a traffic stop.
Officers found 60 pounds of marijuana, packaged and ready to sell, inside the vehicle, police said. This led officers to serve a search warrant at a home around 5:30 p.m. Police said they found 26 more pounds of marijuana, meth, mushrooms and ecstasy at the residence.
Officers also found a 9-month-old baby inside the home, who was taken into state custody.
Police arrested Ryan Frey, 32; Charlene Ewell, 37; and Caleb Hare, 33.
They all were booked into the Utah County Jail for investigation of several felony drug violations as well as child endangerment.
