Team CoverageAuditions will be held tomorrow in Salt Lake City for those willing to gamble that a prime time show will make them rich.

Before you an become a contestant on NBC's "Deal or No Deal," you first have to get past casting director Mary-Rachel Foot and her team. This is the first time she has been to Utah to look for contestants, and she gave us some tips.

"Let us know something about you that's going to help us remember you at the end of the day," she said.

Foot says they are looking for someone who can hold their own against Howie, the briefcase models, the banker, and the audience on the show. "It has to be a person that can play with those surroundings, that can captivate an audience, she said.

Foot hopes to pick about five Utahns for the show, and Cade Wilbur wants to be one of them. "I talk with the contestants all the time and tell them, 'Don't pick that case! Don't pick that case!' And inevitably they pick that case," he said.

But if he makes the cut, will he listen to anyone else's advice? "Oh, probably not," he admitted.

"I'm too stubborn. I'll do probably the opposite of what everyone tells me to do," Wilbur added. He says he plans to be friendly, enthusiastic and tell them he needs the money.

Foot is expecting between 3,000 and 10,000 people to show up at the RC Willey on 2100 South and 300 West for the tryouts tomorrow morning. Auditions begin at 10 a.m. and go until 1 p.m. For more information on the auditions, see the related link on this page.
