OREM — A man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after tipsters at a local Taco Bell called police Wednesday.

Mohammed Alamry, 25, went through the Taco Bell at 97 W. Center Street multiple times asking for food he had never purchased at about 8 a.m., according to Orem police Lt. Craig Martinez. The tipsters told police he appeared to be intoxicated and said they could see an open container of alcohol in the car.

The tipsters gave police a good description of the man and car, including its license plate number, and an officer was able to find and stop Alamry, according to Martinez.

Alamry failed to pass a field sobriety test and was arrested on suspicion of DUI, having an open container, running a red light, having a suspended license, and not having vehicle insurance, police said. He was booked into the Utah County Jail.
