CENTERVILLE — Police were investigating two bomb threats at Target stores in Centerville and Orem Thursday and believe they are linked to similar incidents at Provo and Kearns drugstores Wednesday.

Orem police were called shortly after 4 p.m. to a store at 175 W. Center St. The store was evacuated, and K-9 units from Orem and Provo police departments, as well as Utah Highway Patrol, searched the area. Nothing suspicious was found, according to Orem Lt. Craig Martinez.

The Centerville store, 200 N. Market Place Dr., was also evacuated after a similar bomb threat was made around 4 p.m. K-9 units were used, and the scene was eventually cleared around 6:15 p.m., according to Centerville Police.
