WOODS CROSS — A Utah pilot crashed his single-engine plane shortly after it lost power following takeoff Sunday.
The 42-year-old man flying the plane was departing from Skypark Airport in Woods Cross and was able to walk away from the crash without any serious injuries, police said. The man was said to be an “experienced” pilot.
The plane went down east of Redwood Road near 500 South. The Federal Aviation Administration began investigating the cause of the crash Sunday.
