SALT LAKE CITY — The sun is out, kind of, the weather’s warming up, kind of, which can mean only one thing; it’s time to golf.

It may still be February, but a number of northern Utah golf courses are open for play.

Truth is many courses open early in the year as long as the weather plays along, but not many golfers know which courses are open for play.

More than 30 courses are already open, with others planning on opening this weekend or within the next week. Here’s a breakdown of where you can get out and play a round today.

Salt Lake area

Tooele

  • Oquirrh Hills: 18 holes and range open, carts allowed
  • Overlake: 18 holes and range open, carts allowed
  • Stansbury: 18 holes and range open, carts allowed

Utah County

Davis County

Weber County

  • Riverside: 18 holes and range open, carts allowed
  • Eagle Lake: 9 holes open, carts allowed. Heated range open all year
  • The Barn : Front 9 open, carts allowed. Weather permitting full 18 open Feb. 22
  • Ben Lomond: Weather permitting open within the week

Bountiful/ North Salt Lake

  • Bountiful Ridge: 18 holes open, carts allowed
  • Eaglewood: 18 holes open, carts allowed. Range closed
  • Lakeside: 18 holes open, walking only, range closed. Carts this weekend, weather permitting
