ROY — A man who allegedly possessed more than 2,000 images and videos of child pornography had his bail set for $200,000 Wednesday.

Griffen Michael Gale, 34, was charged with 20 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor and booked into the Weber County Jail. Law enforcement officials were led to Gale while working undercover to investigate child pornography offenses, according to court documents. They obtained a warrant to search Gale's house on May 9.

"During the search, a laptop computer was found hidden in the garage, running and downloading child pornography," reads a probable cause affidavit filed in the 2nd District Court in Ogden Thursday.
