SALT LAKE CITY — A man remained hospitalized in critical but stable condition Tuesday with injuries he received Monday night when he was hit by a car while crossing the street.
Around 10:30 p.m., a southbound sedan hit a 26-year-old man who was crossing at 200 South and 300 West, said Salt Lake City police detective Dennis McGowan. It was unknown whether the man was in a crosswalk or whether the traffic signal was in his favor, McGowan said.
The driver did not see the pedestrian before hitting him, according to police.
The man, whose name has not been released, was taken to a hospital with a head injury.
