SALT LAKE CITY — Spending time with loved ones, eating delicious food and crisp fall weather are just a few things to be grateful for this Thanksgiving.

Take some time between the Macy's parade, turkey dinner and poring over Black Friday ads to express your gratitude for the things that make your heart swell with thanksgiving. From the simple — weekend naps or children playing kindly together — to the grandiose.

"We've mostly got our health, family is intact, friends around and a great meal in a warm home. What could be better?" commenter molympics shared on the comment board.

"Kindness," Lisa Smith Gonzales wrote on Facebook.

"Today I am grateful for the simple things that make life so rich. My husband and children, our cozy home, family and friends," wrote commenter Rmck4. "And my God, from whom all blessings flow."

"I am so grateful for my family, my kids, and my son that I got to spend 21 years with before he passed. This is such a wonderful time of the year but so painful while missing those that can't be with us," commenter Rman wrote.

Whatever you feel gratitude for, let us know in the comments section of this story, or submit a photo of what you're grateful for with a descriptive caption.
