CENTERVILLE — A masked man robbed a bank on the evening of Halloween, according to Centerville Police.
The man was allegedly wearing a white mask and gloves, with his entire body covered by clothing, said Assistant Chief Paul Child of the Centerville Police Department in a press release. The man entered the America First Credit Union on 350 East Pages Lane in Centerville at 6:45 p.m.
"The suspect was initially requested to remove the mask after he entered but refused and then demanded money," Child said. "No weapon was displayed or threatened."
Investigators described the mask as being similar to the one worn in the movie Halloween or by the dance group Jabbawockeez. Police said the man was average height and weight.
