WILLARD — A 21-year-old woman from Brigham City was taken to the hospital after a rollover car accident.
The accident occurred at about 2:35 p.m. on Saturday just south of the Willard Bay exit on southbound I-15.
Trooper Dough Christensen said that the driver, Sianae Marcado, was attempting to merge left from the slow lane when she realized another car was in the fast lane.
"She overcorrected to the right, causing her to go back into the slow lane. Then she overcorrected to the left, casing her to go over into the median," Christensen said.
Marcado's Jeep Liberty made contact with the cable barrier. The front of the vehicle got caught, which cased the car to roll over the cables. Christensen said the car landed upright facing northeast.
Marcado was able to speak to officers at the scene. She was transferred to a local hospital but Christensen believed that her injuries were minor.
