WEST VALLEY CITY — Two men robbed a Cyprus Credit Union while brandishing handguns in West Valley City Tuesday evening, police said.
The two males waved their weapons around and pointed them at employees while demanding cash, said Sgt. Jason Hauer of the West Valley Police Department.
The burglary occurred at approximately 5 p.m. at the Cyprus Credit Union on 3578 W. 4700 South, Hauer said.
Both men were able to get away with an undetermined amount of cash, Hauer said. No employees were injured.
Police said the men were captured on surveillance cameras.
One man was described by investigators as either a white or Hispanic male wearing a dark jacket, khaki pants, tennis shoes and a gray baseball hat that says "Sox."
The second man was described as also being white or Hispanic wearing a gray long sleeved shirt, black pants and a white baseball hat. Both men are believed to be between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall, police said.
