SODA SPRINGS, ID — Three Utah residents and three others were injured in a crash in Southern Idaho.

Around 10:20 a.m. Saturday, a southbound Ford pickup truck driven by John Crook, 62, of Orem crossed the center line of Highway 34 just outside of Soda Springs, ID as Crook failed to negotiate a turn, Idaho State Police reported.

The truck struck a Hyundai Sonata, injuring the four occupants, driver David Eley, 51, and passenger Janet Ely, 51, both of Providence Forge, Va. as well as Taylor and Laura Eley, both 24, of Midvale.

All vehicle occupants were also taken by ground transportation to Caribou Memorial Hospital.
