SMITHFIELD CANYON, Cache County — A man was flown to the hospital Friday night following an argument between co-workers.
Officers with the Cache County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to a scene in Smithfield Canyon Friday at approximately 6:30 p.m. of reports of an alleged assault. When officers arrived they saw Joseph Marcaida, 32, who was suffering from injuries.
Marcaida and co-worker Kristofer Talancon, 27, were making a delivery for their employer when an argument broke out between them, according to the Cache County Sheriff's Office. Marcaida received "substantial injuries" and was flown by Life Flight to an Ogden hospital. His condition is not known.
Talancon was later located and detained in Woods Cross by the Woods Cross Police Department.
