COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS — A natural gas leak Wednesday forced the evacuation of 10 businesses near 1850 Fort Union Blvd in Cottonwood Heights.
Questar crews were called out to the scene around 6 p.m. and quickly ordered the evacuations.
They found gas pooling underneath the ground and immediately began searching for the source of the leak, a Questar spokesman said.
Once it was found, the leak was quickly patched up, and area businesses were back up and runny by 7:30 p.m.
