SOUTH JORDAN — A man was injured Monday when the car he was working on rolled over him.
The accident happened Monday at about 5 p.m., when the 23-year-old man was at home working on a service van near 2100 West and 11400 South. He thought the vehicle was in park when it rolled off its ramps and over the man's abdomen, said Reed Thompson, South Jordan Fire Department battalion chief.
The man was taken by medical helicopter to University Medical Center in serious to critical condition, Reed said. Other people were also present and working on the vehicle, but no one else was injured.
