ST GEORGE (AP) — A drug bust in St. George has netted two suspects who already were facing drug trafficking charges.
The Washington County Drug Task Force served a search warrant on a St. George home Wednesday after undercover agents bought methamphetamine from the residents earlier this month.
St. George Police Captain Kyle Whitehead told the St. George Spectrum 32-year-old Heber Kimball Steed and 34-year-old Rebecca Yvonne Carver are being held in the Purgatory Correctional Facility on $30,000 bail.
Both are charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of paraphernalia and two counts of possession of amphetamine with the intent to distribute.
Both were charged in February with possession and distribution of a controlled substance. Steed also was charged Feb. 28 with possession of a controlled substance on school grounds.
