SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- University of Utah Hospital will mark the 10th anniversary of an AirMed helicopter crash that killed four people.

A wreath will be placed in their honor Friday at the hospital helipad at 2 p.m.

Pilot Stan Berg, nurse Shayne Carnahan, paramedic Tim Hynes and patient David Anderson died when the helicopter crashed in a sudden snowstorm on Jan. 11, 1998.

University Health Care says Berg flew more than 300 missions.

The crash led to changes, including the use of night-vision goggles and new weather-reporting equipment in the cockpit.
