SALT LAKE CITY — Former Brigham Young University center Shawn Bradley had a successful career, playing for the Philadelphia 76ers, New Jersey Nets and Dallas Mavericks. Friday, the 7-foot-6-inch center turned 41 years old.

It's been 22 years since Bradley led BYU to a victory over Virginia in the first round of the NCAA tournament, though the team would lose to Arizona in the next round. It wasn't the end of Bradley's career; after serving an LDS mission to Australia, Bradley entered the NBA draft.

During his career, Bradley was a target for notable dunks, due to his size. Players like Tracy McGrady had career-best dunks on Bradley.

But, to celebrate, here is a clip of Bradley in Space Jam, as well as some of the best dunks against the Emery High School graduate.

If you can remember watching Larry Johnson, Patrick Ewing, Muggsy Bogues and Charles Barkley play, hopefully this brings back positive memories.

Hudson throws a knuckleball

Spring training is likely the furthest thing from many sports fans' minds right now, especially with the cold weather Utah is experiencing. But, with the start of the season less than two weeks away, the arrival of the baseball season is drawing nigh.

With R.A. Dickey moving from the New York Mets to the Toronto Blue Jays, the National League has an opening for a new knuckleball king. Atlanta Braves starting pitcher Tim Hudson has made the first case to take the throne.

Matched up against Nationals first baseman Adam LaRoche, a close friend of Hudson's, Hudson wound up and delivered a 45 MPH floater that just missed the strike zone, low and away.

It's not every day that a pitcher throws his first knuckleball attempt. The Braves, who acquired Justin Upton and BJ Upton during the offseason, will likely be making headlines for achievements other than the old "Eephus pitch" trick.

Brodeur nets third career goal

The NHL's Martin Brodeur is one of the greatest goaltenders to play in the league, having won three Stanley Cup Championships during his 21-year career.

Brodeur was drafted in 1990 by the New Jersey Devils, and has collected multiple awards — most games won, most regular season shutouts — but had only scored two goals.

Some goalie. He may keep the other team from scoring, but does he help score? C'mon, Brodeur!

Thanks to Jordan Staal of the Carolina Hurricanes, Brodeur now has three career goals.

Marek Zidlicky took a penalty, and the Hurricanes had the puck when the delayed penalty was called. In an attempt to capitalize on the impending man advantage, which would be called once the Devils gained possession of the puck, Hurricanes goalie Dan Ellis left the ice for an extra attacker.

After a save by Brodeur, Jordan Staal passes the puck back toward the blue line to reset the offense. But, none of Staal's teammates can get to the puck, and Ellis can't race back fast enough to stop the puck. Goal Brodeur, in a game that would have been won without Brodeur's "goal."
