OverviewAs the nation debates gun control, we'll take a closer look at laws in Utah and get perspectives from advocates on both sides of the issue. Plus, we'll say goodbye to veteran reporter John Daley. He'll joins us to share some of his favorite moments at KSL. And where to put a new state prison? Doug Wright offers his opinion all in this Sunday Edition.

Segment 1

The debate over gun control has come roaring back into the American conversation following the shootings in Connecticut. President Obama announced a new task force to develop ideas to reduce gun violence. On Friday the NRA broke their silence on the issue. The NRA's Wayne LaPierre said the only way to protect children is with an armed guard at every school. We invited two guests who are respectful of each other but have very differing views on this issue. But first Keith McCord explained why talk of new gun regulations has got gun store cash registers ringing.

Segment 2

We are saying goodbye to our good friend and colleague John Daley. He shares his favorite moments and career highlights at KSL.

Segment 3

A formal committee has met to discuss moving the state prison in a couple of years. Doug Wright offers his opinion on the issue by reminding us where the prison used to be.
