LINDON — Every Halloween, the Stringtown Railroad is turned into the Nightmare Express.
The railroad spook alley wouldn't be complete without ghosts, goblins, spiders, bats, skeletons, graveyards, dragons, ringwraiths, Dr. Frankenstein's laboratory and Dracula's castle.
There are movies, music, lots of scares, lots of candy, and lots of fun, according to the Express' creators.
The Nightmare Express' first year, 2006, saw 900 visitors. By 2011, that number had grown to 11,000.
There are over 30 staff members who work together to make the Nightmare Express a success.
The Nightmare Express is located at 455 E. 200 North in Lindon.
