(KSL News) A vote on Utah's proposed fourth Congressional seat could happen before the end of the month.

Senate majority leader Harry Reid says he wants to bring the matter to the floor immediately after the break for the Rosh Hashanah holiday.

If approved, the bill would give Utah a fourth seat in the House while giving the District of Columbia its first seat in Congress.

The House has already passed the bill.

President Bush has said he will veto the measure if it comes across his desk.
