(KSL News) A teen accused of killing his mother will appear in court today for a pretrial hearing.
Police say Jeremy Hauck shot his mother, Laura, twice in the head and slit her throat before stuffing her body in a freezer.
Earlier this year, Hauck's lawyers tried to get evidence seized from Laura Hauck's home thrown out of court, saying it was taken during a search without a warrant. But a judge ruled the search was legal because it was conducted under the emergency aid doctrine.
