AMERICAN FORK -- An American Fork dad has been celebrating Halloween since August. It started out as a trick on his son but has turned out to be a treat for the whole neighborhood.

Every morning, Dale Price dresses up in a different costume and waves as his teenage son rides by on the school bus. He's been Elvis, a renaissance princess, even Santa Claus.

Rain or snow, Dale is out on his front porch every morning.

"Once it gets cold I'm not sure what's going to happen, but we'll see. I'm still planning on doing it," Dale says. "I don't plan on stopping for any reason. I'm worried about costumes when you get to how many ever days are in a school year. Snow? Nah!"

"I just find it funny," Dale's son, Rain, says. "It's nice he can wake up early with me, wave and say goodbye; but it's kind of embarrassing at the same time."

With 180 school days this year, Dale will need a lot more costumes, but friends and neighbors are pitching in to help his cause.
