WEST ALLIS, Wis. (AP) — The Pettit National Ice Center will continue to be an official U.S. Olympic training site.
The Pettit Center, the U.S. Olympic Committee and U.S. Speedskating announced Wednesday they have renewed their agreement designating the Milwaukee-area center as a U.S. Olympic training site.
As an Olympic training site, the Pettit Center is host to training for high potential speedskaters and national competitions for U.S. Speedskating.
The agreement runs through April 30, 2018, and continues the partnership which began with the opening of the Pettit Center in December 1992.
The Pettit Center was one of the first facilities nationwide to be designated an official U.S. Olympic training site.
