VORBECK, Germany (AP) — England's Paul Wesselingh won the European Senior Tour's WinstonGolf Senior Open on Sunday, beating German star Bernhard Langer with a birdie on the third hole of a playoff.

Wesselingh shot a 7-under 65, closing eagle-birdie, to match Langer and England's Phil Golding at 15-under 201 at WinstonGolf. Langer, a five-time winner this season on the Champions Tour, had a 69, and Golding shot 66.

All three players birdied the first playoff hole. Wesselingh and Langer parred the second, and Golding dropped out with a bogey.
