LIVERPOOL, England (AP) — James Milner scored from the penalty spot to give Juergen Klopp his first Premier League win at Anfield as Liverpool manager, with Swansea defeated 1-0 on Sunday.
Milner netted in the 62nd minute after Neil Taylor's handball.
Sixth-place Liverpool closed the gap on Tottenham to two points after the fifth-place team was held 0-0 by Chelsea.
Swansea is a point behind 14th-place Chelsea.
Klopp replaced Brendan Rodgers at Liverpool at the start of October.
