NORWICH, England (AP) — Arsenal dropped more points and added more names to its injury list on Sunday as it was held to a 1-1 draw at Norwich and forward Alexis Sanchez limped off with a hamstring problem.

It was the second straight Premier League disappointment for the Gunners after a loss to West Bromwich Albion last weekend, and they missed the chance to move level on points with Premier League leaders Manchester City and Leicester.

Mesut Ozil opened the scoring for Arsenal only for Lewis Grabban to equalize before halftime, and the day went from bad to worse as Sanchez hobbled off clutching his right hamstring after the break. Earlier, central defender Laurent Koscielny also went off with an apparent hip problem to add to team's injury problems. Key holding midfielder Francis Coquelin is out for 12 weeks after injuring his knee at West Brom and Arsenal again looked shaky at the back at Norwich.

Norwich nearly grabbed a second-half winner but Petr Cech made a stunning one-handed save after Gabriel Paulista almost headed Martin Olsson's cross into his own goal.

Sanchez and Ozil combined for the opening goal as the Chile forward pounced on a poor clearance by John Ruddy and set up the Germany midfielder, who calmly chipped the ball past the goalkeeper and inside the far post.

Arsenal dominated the first half but Norwich drew level when Robbie Brady played the ball into the area where Grabban was too strong for substitute Gabriel and slotted home a simple finish on his first league start since the opening weekend of the season.

The Canaries should have been ahead at the interval but Wes Hoolahan somehow turned over Andre Wisdom's cross from three yards out as he ghosted in unmarked at the back post.

Norwich is in 16th place, three points above the relegation zone. Arsenal remained two points ahead of fifth-place London rival Tottenham.
