CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) — Hornets general manager Rich Cho says that Charlotte has traded Xavier point guard Semaj Christon, the No. 55 pick in the NBA draft, to the Oklahoma City Thunder for cash.
Cho announced the move Friday morning. The Hornets originally received the No. 55 pick as part of a trade with Miami.
Christon averaged 17 points and 4.1 assists last year for Xavier becoming only the second sophomore in school history with more than 1,000 points in a season. He will give the Thunder added depth at the point guard position.
