DALLAS (AP) — Brooklyn forward Andrei Kirilenko won't return to a game against Dallas after leaving with a mild sprain of his left ankle.

Kirilenko, who missed 25 games in the first half of the season because of a bad back, hobbled to the locker room after getting injured with 9:34 left in the second quarter Sunday night.

The 33-year-old Kirilenko was 0 for 3 from the field with two turnovers when he left. He's averaging 5.3 points and 3.3 rebounds per game in his 12th NBA season.

Kirilenko missed two games this month with a sprained right ankle.
