GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Top-ranked Florida has become the first team in Southeastern Conference history to go 18-0 in league play. Patric Young scored 18 points in his final home game as the Gators beat No. 25 Kentucky 84-65. Fellow seniors Casey Prather and Scottie Wilbekin also reached double figures for the 29-2 Gators, who have won 23 straight and 32 in a row at home.
ST. LOUIS (AP) — Second-ranked Wichita State continued its perfect season by reaching the Missouri Valley Conference final with a 67-42 silencing of Missouri State. Cleanthony Early knocked down three 3-pointers and finished with 20 points as the Shockers improved to 33-0, the best start by a Missouri Valley team since Larry Bird and Indiana State in 1979. Should the Shockers win the conference title game on Sunday, they would match the NCAA-record start by UNLV in 1990-91.
EUGENE, Ore. (AP) — Oregon has a seven-game winning streak after Jason Calliste delivered 18 points in the Ducks' 64-57 win over third-ranked Arizona in Eugene. Johnathan Loyd added 16 points to help the Ducks pick up a signature win that bolsters their shot at an NCAA tournament berth.
UNDATED (AP) — The San Antonio Spurs have pulled into a tie with Oklahoma City atop the NBA's Western Conference. Tony Parker scored 30 points and Manu Ginobili (MAN'-oo jih-NOH'-blee) added 24 as the Spurs overcame a lethargic performance to beat Orlando 121-112. Kawhi (kah-WY') Leonard added 17 points, Tiago (tee-AH'-goh) Splitter scored 14 to help the Spurs earn their sixth straight win and improve to 46-16.
DORAL, Fla. (AP) — Patrick Reed has the lead after three rounds of the Cadillac Championship in Doral, Fla. He shot a 3-under-69 to finish play 4-under for the tournament after 54 holes. Jason Dufner and Hunter Mahan (MAY'-han) are tied for second at 2-under-par, and Tiger Woods is just three shots back following a 6-under 66.
