MIAMI (AP) — LeBron James was back in uniform last night with a new piece of equipment: a dark mask to protect his broken nose. The league MVP came back with a vengeance, scoring 31 points in a 108-82 win over the Knicks. The win was Miami's sixth straight.

UNDATED (AP) — Oklahoma City has dropped three straight games. Tonight the Thunder will attempt to put out the fire with a home game against Memphis. Despite their losing ways of late the Thunder remain in first place in the Northwest Division with a record of 43-15.

UNDATED (AP) — Of the six ranked men's basketball teams that played last night only one won. That was Louisville as the seventh-ranked Cardinals beat Temple 88-66. The trio of Russ Smith, Montrezl Harrell and freshman Terry Rozier combined for 64 points in the win, Louisville's seventh straight.

ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) — There's a good matchup in the NHL this evening as St. Louis skates in Anaheim. This game features two of the top Western Conference clubs. The Ducks lead the Pacific Division with 87 points while the Blues are tied with Chicago for the lead in the Central with 84.

SINGAPORE (AP) — The second round of the LPGA's HSBC tournament in Singapore is over and the leader remains Karrie (KAHR'-ee) Webb. She opened with a 66 to lead by one stroke after the first round and now has a two-shot lead over Angela Stanford after 36 holes.
