PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Left tackle Jason Peters, right tackle Lane Johnson and left guard Allen Barbre didn't practice for the Philadelphia Eagles on Tuesday along with three starters on defense.

Peters has a quad injury, Johnson has a knee sprain and Barbre's injury is unknown. Linebackers Mychal Kendricks and Kiko Alonso, cornerback Byron Maxwell and reserve defensive lineman Brandon Bair also sat out.

Alonso had knee surgery last week and will be out for a while. Kendricks missed a game with a hamstring injury and was re-injured against the Redskins. Maxwell (quad) and Bair (groin) left early in the loss at Washington.

Defensive ends Cedric Thornton (hand) and Taylor Hart (shoulder) and safety Chris Maragos (quad) each returned to practice after missing the previous game. Thornton has missed two straight.

The Eagles (1-3) host New Orleans (1-3) on Sunday.
