IRVING, Texas (AP) — The Dallas Cowboys placed defensive tackle Jack Crawford on season-ending injured reserve Wednesday because of a broken thumb and activated linebacker Keith Smith from the practice squad.

Safety Jeff Heath also broke a thumb in last weekend's win at the New York Giants and is listed as doubtful for Thursday's game against Philadelphia.

Linebacker Dekoda Watson was ruled out against the Eagles with a hamstring injury, and rookie cornerback Tyler Patmon will miss his second straight game with a knee injury.

Receiver Terrance Williams was listed as probable despite breaking an index finger against the Giants. He's expected to play with a splint.

Smith has played in four games while bouncing around from the roster to the practice squad and the waiver wire.
